After a pretty good first half, 2009 is all set to be yet another momentous year in gaming history. With multiple titles such as inFamous, Killzone 2, Street Fighter IV, Resident Evil 5, Fight Night Round 4, UFC 2009, Red Faction : Guerilla, among others doing so well, everything is in shape for a fabulous fall/winter season. With numerous positively special E3 stories, announcements and unveilings currently hogging the space, it just can't get any better. Developers are pushing harder and harder to deliver those fulfilling next-gen experiences to the consumers as quickly as possible. Sadly, many hugely anticipated titles have already been pushed back till early 2010. These titles include massive sequels such as Bioshock 2, Max Payne 3, Mafia 2, among others. But we don't mind a delay or two if the end product turns out to be gold, now do we? On the brighter side though, several titles now have been dated and many new ones have been freshly announced to level up our expectations. With all those great developments in place, one can't help but feel all the more excited.

To share the excitement with you guys, we've compiled a list of the most anticipated games for the coming season, featuring all the known platforms. The list does not contain all the titles scheduled for release but only those which we're looking forward to. They have not been ranked in any order. So get seated, strap yourselves in.
