MySpace allows users to connect to everything that matters to them; their music, celebrities, applications as well as their friends.

Q. How does MySpace India stand out among the other social networking sites ?
HK: If you look at it, most of the other networking sites- Facebook, Orkut etc are really social networks; they are utilities meant to connect people to their friends, catch up with old friends, get new friends etc. MySpace is mainly positioned as a social portal and it always has been. In India people are used to having either social network or portals such as Yahoo. Myspace is in between both of them, it allows users to connect to everything that matters to them, their music, celebrities, applications as well as their friends. So unlike other social networks, we spend a lot of time getting exclusive content and all this is hosted on MySpace servers.

Q. What are the gadgets that you carry along with you on a regular basis?
HK: In terms of daily use, one thing that I can't be without is my BlackBerry. I have got the Blackberry Curve, and wherever I go, I carry it with myself. Other than that I don't really carry many gadgets alongwith, but definitely my notebook, an HP Compaq, can be often seen with me. However, I dont use it as much as I use my BlackBerry.

Q. What kind of a gadget setup do you have at your home ?
HK: I have a Sony Home theater system and a Samsung 42” LCD TV at home. Being in an average flat in Mumbai, I can't really get a bigger TV, even if I wanted to. You know the space constraints one has to get adjusted to while staying in Mumbai. (Laughs)

Q. You are an avid music listener, how do you prefer to listen to your music ?
HK: I carry most of my music on my Blackberry while traveling. Other than that, at home it is the Home theatre system that I rely on for music.

Q.Which is your most loved device after Blackberry ?
HK: It has to be my Olympus digital camera, which I use quite extensively.

Q. How do you stay connected to work while travelling ?
HK: I use my laptop with a wireless card to stay connected to work. Otherwise it is my Blackberry, which anyways and always keeps me connected irrespective of the geograpghical boundaries or other limitations.

Q. Which is the immediate next gadget you want to purchase?
HK: Currently, the one gadget that I am really looking forward to is the Blackberry Bold.

Q. What is your indulgence ?
HK: My indulgence is food. I am a big foodie and I love cuisines from all around the world. Every weekend I typically go out with my wife and friends and try something really different-something that I haven't eaten before. Luckily, Mumbai has a lot of food outlets and cuisines available from all around the world. By the way I also love cooking.
