The point-and-shoot camera range has been continuously expanding over the
last few years, but the trouble is, most of the cameras focus just on the
mega-pixels rather than the image quality. However, Fujifilm's latest, the F200
is different. It is an advanced point-and-shoot which gives outstanding results
and comes with manual controls as well.
It looks simple and have an amazingly sturdy build quality. It has a large
3-inch display which doubles up as a viewfinder. All the controls, are placed
next to the display, and hence are easily accessible.

The 12 MP camera comes with 5X optical zoom as well as 3200 ISO sensitivity.
The camera boasts of dual Image stabilization which works superbly well. The
camera has a 1/1.6" camera sensor which is surprisingly large for a
point-and-shoot. The large size of the sensor results in sharp images with vivid
colors. Macro images came up really good, with astounding detail and clarity.
The EXR mode enables the Super CCD EXR technology that differs from conventional
sensors. It automatically adjusts the camera settings to get the best possible
picture with basic post processing done on the image for a better result. The
video recording is done in VGA resolution at 25 fps, so it is good enough to be
watched on a TV. Overall, an impressive camera with great features and
performance, the only issue is its inflated price. At its price, you can opt for
a good prosumer camera such as Kodak Z1015S which offers better features.
