Most of us have loads of icons on our desktop, mostly because these are the
applications that we use regularly. Over a certain period of time the desktop
does run out of space to put new icons, and users are left in a toss to decide
which icons to keep. Now, instead of doing that, just change your desktop icons
to list view, here's how:
- Go to http://dliboon.freeshell.org/ and download DcolorXP 1.2.( 100 KB)
- Install DcolorXP and make sure all the options are selected.
- After installation, go to the Start menu > Program files > DL Software and
run DcolorXp.exe.
- Right click on the little monitor icon in your system tray and select
either Small icons or Tile icons option as per your preference.
- To change the text and background color of the icon, left click on the
monitor icon.
- In the window that pops up, chose the text color and background color from
the drop down menu list and click on 'Ok'.
- To get your default view back, right click on the icon and select the
large icons option.
