T he idea behind this wacky-looking invention was simple; to help people with weakened leg muscles to walk, support their weight or climb stairs with ease. But it ends up looking like some sort of futuristic crutch. It basically consists of three parts; a padded seat, frame and shoes. According to Honda, you have to first wear the shoes and then life the seat into place. Power is supplied by two electric motors and Lithium-ion batteries built into the frame. The batteries will do you good for about two hours of use and the entire thing weighs just 6.5 kg, which means that you can easily carry it around. Pretty neat, we think! Who knows, what you're looking at could actually be a precursor to the bionic suit of the future; one that can multiply the wearer's strength many times over. It's the stuff science fiction dreams are made of!
