Genius' Noise cancelling headphones are extremely portable and come packed with all the necessary traveling accessories: an in-flight dual plug adaptor, travel case, and a 3.5 mm to 2.5 mm convertor. The headphones have a neat foldable design. I tested it out with several different kinds of music and movies. First off, the noise cancelling feature doesn't work as well as expected. It works only when ambient sound is not too high to begin with. Nowhere near the quality of Bose or Creative noise cancelling sets. And the sound is about as good as a pair of headphones I could get for about Rs 500. So the price of Rs 6,499 hardly seems justified. At max volume, the sound started blaring and the treble overshadow- ed the bass completely. If you really need noise cancellation, you'll have to spend more. Otherwise, the Sennheiser PX100 will offer far better sound for a lot less.
