Moserbaer seems to be leaving no stone unturned to enhance its footprint in the digital market. It made its mark by introducing its affordable movie CDs and DVDs, then came its affordable DVD players, and now this time they have come up with a portable media player. This is the IVO 511i, which looks gorgeous in its sleek greyish exterior.

The high point of this device is that it has got all the features that most of the latest PMPs boast of and is extremely light in weight-a mere 56 grams. It does audio and video both, has got
FM and you can use it for viewing images too.

There is a 2-inch LCD/TFT display on the front with a navigation pad to the right.

Using it is pretty simple. Connect it to the PC using the USB 2.0 and then drag and drop files on it. Its overall performance had been satisfactory barring the video. Although this PMP could play video formats AVI, WMV and MPEG but the screen resolution and the clarity of video disappoints. Its audio quality is decent though.

If all that you are looking for in your PMP is the music, then this one is worth a look but if video is your priority then do consider any of the Philips Go Gear series model.
