Nokia keeps it coming with style. A really cool looking phone in red and
white is what the Nokia 5700 is. You can turn the phone into an MP3 player or a
camera by just twisting the lower half of the phone. It comes with a 1 gig micro
SD card supplied and 64 MB onboard memory.
The phone also sports dual speakersand a 5-band equalizer with bass boost to
give crystal clear sound. But the phone's MP3 player does not have an exit
option which is quite strange and the player is always on even when you're not
listening to music.
A 2.2 inch 240 x 320 pixel QVGA TFT screen in the mobile is eye candy to
watch videos on. So next time you're traveling and getting bored you can just
flip the phone and watch your favorite movies, in full screen on Real Player
which comes pre-installed. The phone's keypad is quite comfortable with a 4 way
navigation stick. But strangely the edit key is missing from the phone which is
there in almost every other Series-60 phone from Nokia.

Nokia has cleverly placed the USB, memory card slot and charging port well
under a dust covers on the right side. 5700 has a lot of connectivity options
too, like Mini USB, GPRS, EDGE, 3G, Bluetooth and Infrared. Twist the keypad 90
degrees front or back and the camera activates instantly. In camera mode you
also get an option to click pictures in Panorama. A 900 mAH Li-ion battery
powers the phone, which gives it the extra life it requires. Final say:a smart
looking and sturdy phone, ideal for someone who wants to look trendy and sporty
at the same time.
