All videos are recorded in VGA resolution (640 x 480 pixels) with a frame rate of 30 frames per second.

If you prefer, it can also record still images at pre-determined intervals to save on hard drive space on the host computer. It is really easy to install the network camera. The stand is fixed with a couple of screws, which are supplied in the box. You can also fix the base plate of the stand to a vertical surface. Power is derived from a normal power adapter which plugs into the standard power socket.
